The whole idea of construction and production of a simple, robust and cheap agricultural machine was a major factor for establishing a tractor manufacturing company. "Farmer" Ltd., placed in Sokolka, was registered in April 2003. The purpose of our activity was to develop a tractor construction based on JUMZ, MTZ components and also our own machinery design. In the very same 2003 during AGROSHOW agricultural exibition in Bednary we presented first tractor model F-8244 with 81 HP JUMZ engine. There was a huge interest in that model. During the exibition we signed first agreements with the dealers and individual customers.
Production capabilities of our factory that time were overwhelmed by market demand. Our qualified team tried to manage with that challenge having at their disposal modern production hall with diagnostic line and building dealer's net across the country and on foreign markets. Dynamic development and groving aspirations led to cooperation with an italian transmission manufacturer - Carraro company, so we made a prototype and established mass production of new models with Carraro components. They were the F-8244C2, F-10244C1 and F2-8248 tractors. New models were exported to Croatia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Ireland, Hungary, Latvia and Great Britain and of course sold in Poland. Modern transmission and norm of emission create a need for modern engine. This problem was solved by establishing a cooperation with John Deere company. After passing manufacturer requirements, Farmer company become the only polish tractor producer with built in JD engines.
The top priority of Farmer company is to build highest quality agricultural tractors fullfilling high customer demands. To achieve this,our company Implemented Quality Managing System compliant with ISO 9001:2008 norm. Implemented, maintained and still perfected system helps us in adjustment our products to customer demands.
In our disposal we have well equipped design office, where young and highly qualified engineers can manage with every technicall issue. The origin of our design and construction comes entirelly from our factory. Our products are fullfilling actual european norms of emission and safety precautions.
Engineering solutions are based on components of well-known manufacturers such as John Deere, MMZ, Iveco, Carraro, ZF and Bosch. Market niche in tractors equipped with engines with over 100 HP was an inclination for our company to develop new range of F5 tractors, with engines from 97 up to 120 HP. They are in mass production since 2010. Farmer company, alltogether with our products is constantly developing, so we established a new project of tractor with smaller power engines from 61 to 66 HP with narrow wheel base, designed as tractors for work in orchards, with vegetables and for comunnal usage.
These new models have been sold to customers in Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Hungary, Moldova and Finland. The proof of contentment within our customers is a rising number of new orders. In the forthcoming year we are planning to build a great and highly sophisticated production hall.
